This month, as part of our company-wide philanthropy program Snappy Gives Back, the Snappy team partnered with New Alternatives to spend time bowling with homeless LGBTQ+ youth.

New Alternatives increases the self-sufficiency of LGBTQ+ homeless youth and young adults by enabling them to transition out of the shelter system to stable adult lives. New Alternatives does this by providing long-term support, weekly case management, education services, life skills training, community-building recreational activities, opportunities for self-expression, and programs for HIV+ youth.

“I had such a wonderful experience meeting the clients from New Alternatives. We bowled, ate amazing food, and played arcade games,” said Bryan DeParsia, a Business Operation Manager at Snappy who helped organize the event. “Getting to know some of them personally was such a pleasure, and I can't wait until we get to do it again!”

‍Thanks to all our staff who volunteered to spread smiles! Here at Snappy, we believe there’s always time to make the world a little brighter and we’ll be spreading more good news from our Snappy Gives Back Program throughout the year.
